Allen & Heath is a global leader in the design and manufacture of professional audio mixing systems used and loved by bands, rental companies, installers, houses of worship, DJs, clubs, broadcasters and studios across the globe.
We are looking for an FPGA engineer to work on the development of complex FPGA designs for high end audio mixing desks; the role will cover specification through to hardware testing, with a focus on high quality, re-usable coding, as well as effective verification, of various audio interfaces and custom DSP designs.
- Use modern simulation and verification techniques to create comprehensive testing/simulation environments using ModelSim.
- Produce design documentation, as well as documents describing any software interfaces.
- Degree or equivalent from an accredited course in Electronic Engineering or suitable experience in the field.
- Experience in design, simulation/verification, synthesis, static timing analysis, verification and debugging.
- High speed digital design - Logic, Timing, Signal Integrity etc.
- Digital circuit components: Knowledge of digital audio; C/C++ programming language, circuit design, OSVVM, SDC, TCL.
- Knowledge of audio mixing systems.
