Overview
The role directs the overall performance of the sales force, leading strategic planning and ensuring strong CRM practices with accounts to maximize profitability. It provides leadership on sales execution, establishes plans to expand the customer base in the territory, and contributes to continuous improvement efforts.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for sales and gross profit plans in the division.
- Monitor and evaluate Sales Associate performance.
- Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
- Prepare action plans for individuals and teams to execute on sales leads and prospects.
- Lead development of action planning to penetrate new markets.
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
- Conduct sales update meetings on a regular basis.
- Ensure execution of department goals and maintain accountability.
- Provide solid Customer Relationship Management.
- Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
- Provide timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
- Assist Sales Associates in preparation of proposals and presentations.
- Control expenses to meet budget guidelines.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
- Support sales KPIs while growing the business.
About you
- Demonstrated leadership and skill leading major projects and high-end clients.
- 5-7 years of experience in sales.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative leadership style.
