Are you an experienced finance professional seeking a flexible, part-time role that offers hands-on accounting support? Please note, this is a temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis and will require an immediate start; notice periods cannot be accommodated.
Responsibilities
- Performing bank reconciliations, journals, accruals, and maintaining accurate financial records in Xero
- Supporting VAT returns, management accounts, and grant reporting
- Processing supplier and subcontractor invoices, resolving any queries efficiently
- Preparing and managing supplier payment runs, including remittances
- Raising purchase orders, managing ledgers, and overseeing the purchase inbox
- Setting up and maintaining supplier accounts, liaising to resolve queries professionally
- Providing general finance administration and reporting support
Rewards

Experience Essentials
- Hands‑on experience in a similar finance transactional role
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel
- Experience using Xero accounting software

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Confident in dealing with suppliers professionally
