Catering & Conference Office Assistant Responsibilities This position will involve, but will not be limited to: Providing high-quality administrative support within the catering and conference services department, ensuring efficient operation of events and bookings. Managing bookings and inquiries using conference management software, such as Accurate Solutions Conference Modules, and maintaining detailed records. Corresponding professionally via email, phone, and in person with college members, external clients, and conference guests. Assisting with setting up facilities and equipment for meetings, conferences, and events, both onsite and in designated spaces. Supporting the coordination of accommodation services for visiting guests and event attendees. Following strict guidelines on data protection, equality, and diversity policies while managing confidential information. Demonstrating flexibility to work occasional additional hours during busy periods, such as the summer conference season. Catering & Conference Office Assistant Rewards Up to £28,319 per annum, equivalent to £15.56 per hour, depending on experience. Holiday entitlement aligned with part-time employment. Familiarity with equality and diversity policies and procedures is desirable. Location Based on-site in a central area easily accessible by public transport; parking facilities are not available.
