People Partner Responsibilities Serving as an internal client lead on HR issues, providing strategic and practical support to SME clients across various sectors.
Advising on employment law, restructuring, redundancy, change management, disciplinary, and grievances to ensure compliant solutions.
Leading HR projects such as performance management systems, salary reviews, staff engagement surveys, and policy development.
Building strong relationships with Founders, CEOs, and COOs, understanding their business and people objectives, and delivering value-added HR services.
Working proactively to anticipate client needs and offering pragmatic solutions to complex HR challenges.
Attending client sites as required and collaborating with colleagues to deliver consistent, high-quality service.

People Partner Experience Essentials Solid generalist HR experience, ideally within a consultancy or support role.
Working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
Proven ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the confidence to challenge and advise at senior levels.
Ability to work independently, proactively, and with excellent attention to detail.
Experience in HR project implementation, policy development, and employee relations.
Familiarity with HR software and tools is advantageous.
Location Based in Abingdon, this role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, with 1-2 days in the office each week.
Attendance at client sites across Oxfordshire, London, and Cambridge will be required as needed.
