Looking for a short, high-impact finance cover role? As a Temporary Finance Manager, you will step in quickly to keep day-to-day accounts running smoothly and support the wider business for one busy week (NEXT WEEK).

Covering a range of financial duties, this post would be ideal for a Xero super-user who thrives in a busy bookkeeping role. Please note, this is a temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis and will require an immediate start on Monday 22nd June.

Temporary Finance Manager Responsibilities

  • Managing day-to-day finance administration in Xero to keep accounts up to date and accurate for internal decisions.
  • Reconciling bank accounts and maintaining accurate financial records to ensure integrity of the accounts ledgers.
  • Supporting payment runs and monitoring cash flow to keep payments on track and reduce risk.
  • Handling finance-related queries by phone and email to maintain clear communication with customers and suppliers.
  • Assisting with general bookkeeping and administrative tasks to support smooth operations across the finance function.
  • Providing ad hoc finance support as required to help the team stay ahead during a fast-moving period.
