Our exceptional client is searching for an immediate temporary resource to work in this senior administrative role, working at the heart of academic life. Responsible for a wide-ranging remit, this assignment will prove critical in managing and coordinating a wide range of academic and student-related services.

Working in Central Oxford, there is no parking available so please bear this in mind when applying. The duties will include line management, student recruitment, welfare support and complex administration.

Please note, this is a full time, temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis. This role will start quickly, so sadly candidates with a lengthy notice period cannot be considered.

Temporary Academic Registrar Responsibilities
  • Advising on admissions
  • Making offers and overseeing the financial declaration process
  • Ensuring compliance
  • Providing and coordinating welfare support to students
  • Overseeing the student induction and registration programme
  • Overseeing the allocation of College Advisors
  • Monitoring students’ academic progress
  • Developing and reviewing processes
  • Management of arrangements for Graduation ceremonies
  • Supporting scholarship and fundraising administration
  • Attending and participating in relevant committees
  • Monitoring, managing and reporting on budgets
  • Leading and line managing team members
