Are you an experienced HR professional with a strong background in employee relations? This is a great opportunity to support a busy HR team on a short-term basis, providing expert advice and practical support to managers and staff.
Please note, this is a temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis and will require an immediate start, notice periods cannot be accommodated.
Temporary ER Specialist Responsibilities
This position will involve, but will not be limited to:
- Providing advice and guidance to managers and employees on HR and employee relations matters, including absence, performance, probation, and organisational change.
- Supporting managers with employee relations casework, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and employment law.
- Assisting with staffing, recruitment, and HR processes, and maintaining accurate records.
- Developing, communicating, and delivering briefings on HR policies and updates to staff and managers.
- Monitoring key HR processes such as absence, appraisals, contracts, and payroll changes, ensuring deadlines and legal requirements are met.
- Maintaining HR records and reports, providing data-driven insights to the HR manager.
Temporary ER Specialist Rewards
- Full time role, Monday to Friday
- Immediate start for a duration of approximately 4 to 8 weeks.
Temporary ER Specialist Experience Essentials
- Previous experience in a HR or employee relations role.
- Strong understanding of employee relations processes and employment legislation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident advising managers on sensitive and complex people matters.
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience using HR systems and producing reports.
Location
Based in central Oxford, please note there is no onsite parking. Candidates should consider alternative transport options due to limited parking facilities.
