This is an excellent opportunity to support a busy HR team, providing essential administrative assistance with a dynamic organisation. You will play a vital part in managing employee records and HR processes, ensuring compliance with policies and legal standards, while developing your experience in HR administration. This role offers ongoing work until 18th December, starting immediately.
Please note, this is a temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis and will require an immediate start, notice periods cannot be accommodated.
Temporary HR Administrator Responsibilities
This position will involve, but will not be limited to:
- Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records
- Supporting onboarding processes, including mandatory training and documentation.
- Completing right-to-work and DBS checks, monitoring documentation and expiry dates.
- Managing reference requests for prospective and former employees.
- Responding professionally to HR queries and escalating where required.
- Managing temporary and casual staff records, including starter and leaver administration.
- Preparing new starter documentation, ensuring all paperwork is completed and returned.
- Supporting the communication and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Providing additional HR administrative support and undertaking related duties as needed.
Temporary HR Administrator Rewards
- Competitive hourly rate of between £16 and £17 plus holiday pay, paid weekly via PAYE
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. (½ hour lunch)
- Immediate start, ongoing until 18th December

- Prior experience in HR administration
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience with Sage HR or similar systems is desirable
