To support our continued growth and commitment to being the best in the business, we are looking for a highly skilled Crane Technician to join our engineering team. In this role you will play a vital part in ensuring our fleet of state‑of‑the‑art mobile cranes remains safe, reliable and ready to perform on some of the most challenging projects in the sector.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned servicing, inspections, repairs and maintenance across our diverse fleet of mobile cranes.
- Respond to breakdowns on site, providing fast, accurate diagnostics and effective solutions to keep operations moving.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems to the highest standards.
- Ensure all maintenance activities meet Allelys’ strict safety, quality and compliance expectations.
- Maintain clear, accurate service records in line with regulatory and company requirements.
- Work collaboratively with engineering, operations and project teams to support safe, efficient delivery of major heavy lift projects.
- Strong ability to work independently and make informed decisions under pressure.
- A proactive “can‑do” attitude aligned with Allelys’ commitment to excellence.
- Professional, approachable and confident when dealing with internal teams and site personnel.
- Flexible, reliable, and committed to delivering high‑quality work every time.
- Proven experience maintaining, repairing and diagnosing faults on mobile cranes (essential).
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to think ahead, solve problems quickly and support the business in delivering the very best operational outcomes.
