The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
This in-house role is responsible for planning, creating and publishing content including social media, press releases and case studies.
You will co-ordinate closely with internal teams to gather information and imagery, as well as gaining approvals prior to release. You will also be responsible for monitoring engagement, managing responses and tracking coverage, working closely with the Head of Marketing to support wider marketing and brand objectives.
Key responsibilities- Own and manage all social media activity across agreed platforms.
- Write, edit and publish content in multiple formats, including social media posts, press releases and case studies.
- Collate information, quotes and imagery from internal stakeholders.
- Translate engineering and project information into clear, engaging content.
- Plan and schedule content in line with the marketing calendar and business priorities.
- Manage internal and external approval processes to ensure content is signed off accurately and on time.
- Track press coverage and maintain a record of published content.
- Monitor social media channels for comments, messages and engagement.
- Respond appropriately or elevate queries as required.
- Report on content performance and engagement.
- Support internal communications.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Confident communicator who can work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive and self‑motivated, able to manage multiple projects at once.
- Comfortable taking ownership of content from concept to publication.
- Professional, reliable and able to handle approvals and confidential information.
- Proven experience in content creation, copywriting, PR or communications.
- Excellent written English with the ability to adapt tone and format for different audiences.
- Experience managing business social media channels.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Confident working with internal stakeholders and approval processes.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling tools and basic analytics (desirable).
- Experience within engineering, manufacturing, construction or other technical sectors (desirable).
