Activities Coordinator Fordingbridge, Hampshire. An Allegra Care Home 30 hours per week (includes alternate weekends) £13.20 per hour.

About the Role

As an Activities Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of our home—bringing energy, creativity, and warmth to each day. You'll design and deliver a varied programme of engaging, meaningful activities, tailored to the interests, abilities, and life stories of our residents. Your role will include:

  • Planning and delivering activities that promote wellbeing, independence, and enjoyment
  • Encouraging residents to take part and try new experiences
  • Supporting hobbies, crafts, and life skills activities
  • Organising events and creating a vibrant, social atmosphere
  • Building strong relationships with residents and colleagues
  • Maintaining accurate activity records and plans

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Fun, caring, and full of enthusiasm
  • A confident communicator with a positive, “can-do” attitude
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Highly organised, adaptable, and a natural multitasker
  • Passionate about enriching the lives of others
  • Some experience in care is required
  • Basic IT and organisational skills are beneficial (full training provided)
