Domestic Assistant – Allegra Care

Base pay – hourly rate of £12.82. Working days are daytime with alternate weekend shifts. Full training is provided; prior experience in a care home is an advantage.

The successful candidate will help maintain cleanliness, safety, and independence for residents by performing daily housekeeping duties, focusing on laundry and general maintenance. Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and running laundry for residents.
• Cleaning and tidying communal areas to up‑to‑standard safety and hygiene.
• Assisting with routine personal care as needed.
• Supporting house‑keeping team on flexible shifts.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Experience in a care home or similar environment preferred.
• Strong attention to hygiene and safety procedures.
• Effective communication with residents and staff.
• Reliable, flexible, and punctual for a 40‑hour schedule.
