About The Role
We are seeking a Junior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing Development team, offering the chance to work in a collaborative, small team environment, as well as the opportunity to work with colleagues across the Atlantic and around the world.
You will be responsible for testing new features, product enhancements and fixes relating to the Allego platform and all associated products.
Our ambitious roadmap is leveraging some of the latest technologies in order to create exciting new features.
As part of an Agile team, from sprint kickoff through to reporting bugs (and everything in between) you will be fully engaged in the development process and be able to make a real difference to the ongoing success of the team.
About you
You're curious and proactive - when something looks off, you dig in rather than wait to be told.
You pick up new tools and processes quickly, with minimal hand-holding from your mentor, and know when to ask a well-targeted question versus leveraging available resources to work through it yourself first.
You take ownership: unclear tickets or escaped bugs get followed up on, not left behind.
You manage your own workload, treat documentation gaps as things to fix, and see every ticket as a chance to sharpen your craft.
