We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead the growth and expansion of hardware sales in the North of England. This role is designed for an individual with experience in hardware and channel sales, specifically related to modern workplace technology. You will be responsible for building and managing relationships with partners, driving sales of hardware products, and ensuring partners exceed target objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with partners, both remotely and on-site, providing training and sales support for the complete hardware portfolio.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with resellers, distributors, and partners to drive sales and meet business objectives.
- Deliver product, pricing, and promotional training to partners to enhance their ability to sell hardware solutions effectively.
- Actively promote modern workplace solutions, including devices, accessories, warranty, and services.
- Support partner sales floor activation and communication, assisting with technical and administrative needs.
- Provide regular updates on partner performance, including weekly account updates and feedback.
- Collaborate with Partner Development Managers (PDMs) in creating account plans and Quarterly Business Review (QBR) content.
- Identify and develop sales opportunities, align resources to support sales activities, and flag challenges as needed.
Job Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in hardware and/or software commercial sales, particularly with reseller or distributor partners.
- Strong understanding of hardware sales processes and experience in the channel sales environment.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize high-potential opportunities effectively.
