Position Summary
GSK are seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to join the team at the Barnard Castle site. This person will lead and manage the warehouse team in compliance with GSK policies, ensuring the achievement of Key Performance Indicators in safety, compliance, productivity, and cost. They will also oversee budget planning and adherence, maintain audit readiness across EHS and Quality standards, and drive strategic capacity planning. This role will involve building and maintaining strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, governing warehouse systems, and championing continuous improvement initiatives while proactively managing risks.

Key Responsibilities
- Leadership of direct team in line with all GSK and Barnard Castle policies and procedures.
- Deliver Warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) EHS, Compliance, Productivity & Cost.
- Contribute to the logistics budget planning process and manage the adherence to the warehouse budget and capital process.
- Warehouse audit readiness through management monitoring, level 2, 3, 4 audits and inspections (both EHS and Quality).
- Strategic and capacity planning and execution.
- Strong stakeholder management to ensure effective relationships are developed and maintained with multiple areas of the business, including but not limited to: departmental production staff/shift teams, NPI, Engineering, quality, logistics and third part contractors.Â
- Governance of warehouse systems and practices.
- Ownership and delivery of warehouse continuous improvement strategies.
- Risk identification and assessments.
