Location: Sheffield – Grosvenor House

Contract: 11 months (potential to extend or convert to permanent)

Job Type: Onsite

Working Hours:

  • Monday – Friday
  • First 2–3 weeks: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Thereafter: Rotational shifts (7:30 AM – 3:30 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
  • Flexible within the team based on operational needs
  • Early closure at 4:00 PM on Fridays

We are hiring a Receptionist with 1+ year of experience to join a dynamic team in Sheffield. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys front-desk operations, customer interaction, and administrative support.

Role Overview

The Receptionist will provide high-level administrative and front-of-house support, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for visitors and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and direct visitors professionally
  • Answer calls and manage switchboard inquiries
  • Handle courier deliveries and outgoing packages
  • Maintain visitor logs and issue security passes/badges
  • Manage meeting room schedules and ensure proper setup
  • Perform administrative tasks such as typing, filing, photocopying, and mail preparation
  • Provide general office support as needed

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
