Allegis Global Solutions is recruiting for a contract position and the assignment will be at Warner Bros. Discovery.

Contract duration: 12 months with a possibility of permanent opportunity

Location: Old Street, London

Target start date: ASAP

Pay rate: 117.53 GBP per day (PAYE or Umbrella, inside IR35)

Your New Role: This is a commercial marketing role where the primary objective is to deliver creative product release plans across a diverse portfolio of TV & Family Entertainment titles including DC, HBO, Max Originals, WBTV, Adult Swim, Cartoon Network and MGM. The role requires lifecycle management (new release and catalogue) to deliver against a P&L in both physical and digital transactional windows.

Your Role Accountabilities:

  • Work with the Head of Marketing to set, adjust and deliver the Home Entertainment TV financial budgetary goals, focusing specifically on contribution and profitability.
  • Devise and implement marketing plans covering; product launch strategies (inc. date, price and sales forecast), product packaging, paid media, publicity, retail set up, organic social media and promotional partnerships.
  • Forecasting and P&L management of titles, new products and ranges using an insight led approach.
  • Coordinate closely with the sales and customer marketing teams to influence and optimise representation of New Release and Catalogue titles across our physical and digital retailers as well as actively driving new business channel opportunities.
  • Work as part of a broader TV marketing team to drive effective lifecycle management of TV content from its broadcast window through to the digital and physical Home Entertainment window working on TV franchise priorities as directed by Head of Marketing.
  • Create and implement promotional plans across catalogue franchises to actively drive catalogue revenue.
  • Nurture effective working relationships with key internal stakeholders in London and LA.
  • Line management of intern responsible for their career growth and development.
  • Effective management of agencies across paid media, publicity, social with a view to finding efficiencies.
  • Cultivate close working relationships with all relevant UK divisional colleagues including Theatrical New Release, Consumer Products, Games, Sales, Customer Marketing, Finance, Insights and Creative Services.
  • Possess a strong knowledge of WBD content.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Passion for television essential.
  • Experience of working in television or broader entertainment industry.
  • Proven product/brand management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the Home Entertainment category and industry workings.
  • Confident and eloquent communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Be able to handle and take responsibility for a heavy but varied workload with need for attention to detail and with a flexible approach.
  • Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a calm and collected manner.
  • An enthusiastic, self-motivated, proactive team player who genuinely cares.
  • Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Commercial and financial acumen.
  • Influential and collaborative.
  • Experience of managing agencies across creative, paid media, social, publicity and promotional partnerships.
  • Strong experience in running multiple paid media and publicity campaigns efficiently and effectively using data and insights to inform.
