Director International Benefits Projects and Systems
Position Overview
The Director International Benefits Projects & Systems will initially focus on harmonising benefits & leave plans across the combined organisation as well as being responsible for implementing Benefit Systems (Benify).
This role will also be involved in other benefits projects across the International as required to ensure our plans support business strategy, future growth and/or M&A activity.
This role will report to the VP International Compensation & Benefits and will have a team of approximately 6.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead benefits and LOA/PTO harmonisation project activity for International including design of new benefit plans, stakeholder consultation and approvals, implementation, communications and final handover to regional compensation and benefits lead
- Build strong relationships with People & Culture, IT and external providers (Benify, AON) to ensure our programs, plans and systems support employees
- Support the regional C&B team on benefits harmonisation activity creating guidelines, developing templates, collaborating on solutions and providing technical support
- Responsible for International Benefit Systems ensuring they support administration and communication of benefits as well as providing analytics to ensure the benefits we provide are supporting the Health and Wellbeing of employees
- Ensure current benefit dashboards and analytics support the on going review to ensure our benefits support the health and wellbeing of employees
- Partner with International TR Comms & Events Manager to develop engaging communication materials in support of harmonisation activity
- Participate in the design and delivery of International Benefits Policy
- Manage the Benefits Budget Process for International working with FP&A and the Regional Compensation & Benefits Leads
- Lead on the review and transition of benefit activity to the Employee Connection Team creating clear RACI’s, process maps and training materials
- Lead on other benefits projects and activities for International as required
Profile (The essentials)
- Project Management & Delivery : Proven track record of delivering significant and complex projects across multiple markets using sound project management techniques. Ability to lead multiple projects/tasks concurrently, prioritising and delegating effectively
- Knowledge : Extensive experience of International Benefits, including the design and implementation of new plans and governance of existing plans
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to quickly build robust relationships with stakeholders and to effectively influence others and manage conflict
- Collaboration: A global ‘one team’ mindset to support collaborative working across the team with a willingness to both take a lead or support role as appropriate for the situation
- People Management: Proven leadership and management skills that empower and support the development of formal direct reports and informal dotted line reports
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, delivering complex messages and concepts in a clear and engaging way, tailoring their communication style effectively to their audience
- Organisation: Excellent organisational skills with the ability to design processes and operating practices that minimise risk and drive efficiency
- Excellent Microsoft excel, MS office skills, including PowerPoint
