The team is driven to provide world class technology to support the bank’s Financial Markets business. As a Business Analyist, you’ll be responsible for delivering technology solutions to financial markets globally. The role is based in Singapore and working in a dynamic global team with other technologists, business analysts, project managers and business stakeholders across multiple locations.

- Proven track record leading multi-discipline delivery teams on complex programmes and projects
- Understand business requirements and translate into quality technology solutions
- Pro-actively engage, manage and build strong relationships with both business and technology stakeholders
- Experience in leading agile delivery teams
- Taking ownership of technology deliveries from high level requirement through development, testing and deployment
- Identify risks and issues early, plan mitigating steps and communicate these to stakeholders in a timely manner
- Work closely with business users, other project and programme managers and technology stakeholders to ensure all stakeholders are engaged and expectations managed
- Provide on-going support to the technology teams as required e.g. authoring / reviewing test cases, closing out open issues / questions, managing change request process etc
Qualification & Skills
Technical skills:
- Substantial technology delivery and management experience (minimum 10 years), at least part of this in the financial markets domain
- Derivatives knowledge from FX, Rates, Commodities and/or Credit encompassing trade life cycle, pricing, risk analytics and market data. Finance degree or certifications (FRM/CFA/PRM etc) or market and credit risk understanding a plus
- Strong communication and presentation skills with an excellent standard of English (written and spoken)
- Quantative finance understanding, experience working with analytics libraries and pricing models.
- Knowledge and previous experience of large-scale financial markets platforms such Sales Dealer systems
- Technical background beneficial, knowledge of programming and scripting languages, technologies, architectures, data stores, messaging
- Agile and traditional project management methodology experience. Certifications such as Scrum Master, Product Owner or PMP a plus
- Experience of leading cross-departmental teams to delivery – with or without direct reporting line, project management experience a plus
