Roles and Responsibilities:
- Dart / Staging Environment (Main Priority)
- Work with other stakeholders to manipulate data to fit in our partner's systems
- Understand contracts (as per contract info)
- Understand product structure (training provided)
- Link billing data to asset data with data team (DQM team)
- All customer (circa 200) data is to be loaded and linked to assets
- Use of custom tool (Dart) to upload
- Use SQL to download data files from Dart to identify gaps
- Use of any software to analyse data and feedback as required
- While using Dart flag any potential enhancement requirements or bugs and defects
- Attend calls (3x per week)
- Scrub Customer Master Data
- Review report from acquired company and work cross functionally to ensure all data is accurate and up to date
- Relay information to track lead
- Validate information is accurate
- Attend weekly calls (2x per week)
- Provide dashboard with commentaries on accuracy or gaps
- Understand contracts and update as necessary (Initial Essential Work)
- Prepare a tracker for invoice to contract validation using excel or appropriate tool such as smart sheets
- Review and understand Contracts and detail information in an appropriate area such as smart sheets, or excel
- Review invoices and summarise learnings by using the appropriate software which can be Excel, SQL, or as needed
- Populate tracker with information from contracts and invoices and prepare a summary file highlighting fallouts
- Invoices
- Extract information from invoices by script e.g. Python
- Load invoice information to Dart and compare vs Billing Lines and Contract data
- Reconcile information in invoices vs expected billing
- PGLS
- Will require working in Excel and smartsheets to identify fallouts from data migration
- Perform fixes to billing data based using agreed documented processes
- Obtain approvals from relevant stakeholders
- Ad-hoc
- Help with data issues as required
Knowledge Requirements:
- Basic finance and accounting e.g. what AP/AR/GL/Procurement areas, and what the functions do
- How invoices and credit notes work alongside receipts/collections
Learning:
- How the company works (training provided)
- Understand product structure (training provided)
- Dig into and learn about our client with a focus on billing, billing systems, and billing processes, and billing software used (this should be driven by the individual)
Skills (Necessary):
- Advanced Excel
- Use of lookups, sumifs, wide range of formulas, nested formulas, and manipulating formulas to meet needs as needed
- VBA
