The HR Business Partner provides support to the organisation to enable integration, development, engagement and support for newly acquired businesses into the Allegion H&W Business Unit. The role focuses on alignment with the full organisation in the UK, supporting HR priorities and processes. The HRBP is responsible for full‑life cycle talent attraction, talent development and engagement, payroll, reporting, training plans and HR metrics for all UK entities. The role also collaborates within the H&W HR community to harmonise current contracts and benefits to Allegion compensation and benefits policies. Over time, the scope may broaden to include human resources programmes such as development, employee or labour relations, and affirmative action / equal employment opportunity compliance. The role completes UAP, Brisant and Allegion UK personnel transactions and maintains associated records.
Principal Responsibilities
- Work with the team to enhance the integration of UAP and Brisant within the Allegion HR Community.
- Provide support during the integration phase for anything regarding HR matters including contracts, administrative tasks and documentation, and compensation‑benefits harmonisation.
- Provide HR expertise, partnering with the Director Leader, first‑level managers and frontline leaders to help them meet operational needs and KPIs for UK locations.
- Act as the first point of contact for HR administrative tasks and payroll.
- Assist employees (white and blue collars) with employment issues and questions, ensuring compliance with labour law, local collective agreements, regulations and policies.
- Prevent conflicts and manage disciplinary actions when needed, always using tact, discretion and empathy.
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards to support client groups (Workday, Strengths Finder, and engagement), ensuring data integrity.
- Support talent management processes such as succession planning, growth roadmaps and other talent development initiatives.
- Provide talent acquisition and onboarding support for all hires.
- Support talent programmes such as internships, co‑ops and other early‑career programmes.
- Interact with public offices and institutions at the local level.
- Support additional projects for client groups as appropriate.
