Role: 2nd Line Field Support Technician (Schools)

Location: Bury, Manchester

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000

I am working with a Managed Service Provider that works exclusively within the education sector, providing support to primary schools across the North West. They are looking to bolster their on-site technical support team with keen technicians who are passionate about IT and helping people.

The MSP that you will be working for is an incredible outfit with some superb training plans and facilities, and has a really good bunch of Engineers who are very tight knit; you will get truly looked after here.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support both remotely and face to face to teachers and pupils.
  • Provide Windows Server, mobile device and network infrastructure support.
  • Provide support for other technicians and work as part of the team.
  • Provide hands-on advice and guidance to the schools to help develop their IT network.
  • Maintain a helpdesk facility providing clients with feedback to tickets proactively and in a timely manner.
