IT Support Engineer

Location: Trafford Park, Greater Manchester.

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver 1st / 2nd Line Support to schools / education customers.
  • Manage and enhance IT systems, networks, and infrastructure for optimal performance.
  • Conduct on-site visits across the North West to provide technical support and strategic guidance.
  • Quickly troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Collaborate with educational staff and corporate clients to identify and implement tailored IT solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Current DBS or a clean background in order to be provided with one.
  • Experience: 1+ years of IT support, ideally with educational institutions (experience with corporate clients is an advantage).
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in network management, cloud platforms (Office 365, Google Workspace), and server administration (Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP).
  • Specialized Skills: Experience with Educational tech systems (e.g., MIS, Paxton Systems).
  • Additional Tools: Skilled in Mac management, MDM platforms (e.g., Jamf), and print management tools.
  • Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Communication: A customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills for engaging with educators and business professionals.
  • Travel: A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle for regular travel across the North West.
