Are you an experienced Cloud Operations Engineer who is passionate about network transformation and security? We are hiring for a dynamic team in London for a high-impact role within a leading Investment Bank.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver strong Azure operational expertise with excellent networking skills in Cisco switching and routing (operational focus over pure engineering).
- Architect, configure, and support advanced Azure cloud and on-premise network environments.
- Design secure, high-performance enterprise network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi).
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco and Meraki devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Administer firewall solutions using Fortinet and Palo Alto, and manage the decommissioning of legacy equipment.
- Implement and maintain SASE, CASB, Zero Trust, and CATO/SASE security solutions.
- Utilise network visualization tools and virtualization platforms (VMware) for enhanced monitoring and flexibility.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Python, PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Contribute to DevOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes operations.
- Strong experience with Azure Cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
- Expert knowledge of enterprise network architecture and technologies (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi).
- Hands-on experience with Cisco and Meraki networking hardware.
- Proficiency in firewall technologies (Fortinet, Palo Alto) and legacy infrastructure decommissioning.
- Demonstrable knowledge of SASE solutions, Zero Trust security models, CASB, and CATO or SASE.
- Familiarity with network visualization tools and VMware virtualization.
- Relevant certifications (CCNP, CCIE, SASE Certified Architect, or similar).
- Advanced configuration experience on Cisco and Meraki devices (including port and firewall management).
- Strong scripting and automation skills with Python, PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform.
- Practical experience with DevOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes.
