As a community pharmacist you will be able to offer expert advice on the prescription and use of medications. You will:
- Supervise the prescriptions dispensed to patients to ensure their safety, quality, and compliance with law.
- Ensure legal compliance in the pharmacy, reviewing labels, doses and procedures.
- Secure and monitor controlled drugs to maintain regulatory compliance.
- Supervise and train other pharmacy staff such as technicians and counter assistants.
- Develop, promote and provide NHS & private services.
- Manage pharmacy stock and budget.
- Be responsible for the management and development of employees ensuring compliance with legislative and company policy & procedure.
- Remain aware of latest pharmaceutical products, developments, and laws.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree in Pharmacy.
- Pharmacist experience essential.
- Supervisory / Management skills.
- Commitment to continuing professional development and training.
