Hourly Rate: From £26.00 per hour depending on experience.
As a community pharmacist you will be able to offer expert advice on the prescription and use of medications. You will supervise the prescriptions dispensed to patients to ensure their safety, quality, and compliance with law. You will ensure legal compliance in the pharmacy, reviewing labels, doses and procedures.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Securing and monitoring controlled drugs to maintain regulatory compliance
- Supervising and training other pharmacy staff such as technicians and counter assistants
- Developing, promoting and providing NHS & private services
- Managing pharmacy stock and budget
- Responsible for the management and development of employees ensuring compliance with legislative and company policy & procedure
- Remaining aware of latest pharmaceutical products, developments, and laws
Requirements:
- Relevant degree in Pharmacy
- Pharmacist experience essential
- Supervisory / Management skills
- Commitment to continuing professional development and training
