We are looking for an experienced and proactive Junior HR Business Partner to join the InsurEvo Group and play a key role in supporting our people strategy across the business. This is a busy and varied role focused on partnering with line managers to provide expert guidance across a wide range of people matters, helping to drive performance, engagement, and talent development. You’ll work closely with the Head of HR to deliver high-quality HR support, contribute to key people initiatives, and ensure best practice across the employee lifecycle. The successful candidate will be confident handling employee relations matters, interpreting employment legislation, and using data and insight to support informed business decisions and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a key point of contact for HR-related queries, providing professional guidance and support to employees, managers, and HR Administrators.
  • Provide expert advice to line managers on the consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide insight, support decision-making, and drive HR best practice.
  • Support and guide managers through employee relations matters including absence, disciplinary, grievance, welfare, and performance cases.
  • Monitor, review, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment legislation and best practice.
  • Deliver training and coaching to managers and leaders on HR processes and people management practices.
  • Support the identification of learning and development needs across the business and contribute to employee development initiatives.
  • Prepare and review HR documentation including contracts, letters, and employee correspondence, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Support onboarding activities and contribute to the delivery of HR metrics and people insights.
  • Promote a collaborative and positive workplace culture aligned to company values and strategic objectives.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives including surveys, focus groups, and feedback activities to enhance employee experience.
  • Assist with recruitment and attraction activities including pre-screening, interview coordination, salary benchmarking, and employer branding initiatives.
  • Support reward and compensation activities including pay reviews, bonus administration, and market benchmarking.
  • Support payroll-related processes, ensuring confidentiality and data accuracy.
  • Assist with the day-to-day management of office facilities, suppliers, and workplace maintenance.
  • Support workplace Health & Safety activities and maintain accurate compliance records.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Proven experience in an HR Advisor or Business Partner role.
  • Experience managing a range of employee relations cases including absence, disciplinary, grievance, and performance matters.
  • Good working knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Experience using HR systems and HR metrics/KPIs to support business decisions.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to build effective relationships and confidently support managers across the business.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload effectively.
  • CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualified/desirable, or currently working towards qualification.
