Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and advising on a wide range of employee relations matters including performance, absence, disciplinary, grievance, and wellbeing cases
  • Supporting the delivery of the Group people strategy, driving engagement, talent development, and a positive employee experience
  • Using HR data, trends, and insights to support business decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Coaching and influencing managers to embed HR best practice and strengthen leadership capability
  • Supporting recruitment, attraction, and employer branding activities to help attract and retain top talent
  • Contributing to learning & development, reward, and wider people-focused projects across the business
  • Reviewing and maintaining HR policies, processes, and documentation to ensure compliance and best practice
  • Supporting payroll and onboarding processes while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and a seamless employee experience
  • Assisting with workplace Health & Safety activities, compliance monitoring, and maintaining a safe working environment
  • Supporting the day-to-day management of office facilities, suppliers, and workplace operations to help create an efficient and positive working environment
  • Playing a key role in fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture aligned to the Group’s values and long-term objectives

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Proven experience in an HR Advisor or Junior Business Partner role
  • Experience managing a range of employee relations cases, including absence, disciplinary, grievance, and performance matters
  • Good working knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
  • Experience using HR systems and HR metrics/KPIs to support business decisions
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to build effective relationships and confidently support managers across the business
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload effectively
  • CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualified/desirable, or currently working towards qualification
