Total Roofing Supplies are seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join their team on a permanent basis. This opportunity is available on either a full-time or part-time basis. The role is office-based in Colchester area.
Salary: £35000.00
Holiday: 20 days plus bank holidays
Working Hours: 08.00 - 15.00
About The Role
As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will oversee a wide range of bookkeeping responsibilities. The role requires a high level of professionalism, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
Main Responsibilities And Duties
- Complete double-entry bookkeeping, manage sales and purchase ledgers, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns.
- Monitor bank accounts and track cash flow.
- Manage payroll.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit & loss and balance sheet reports.
- Credit Control.
- Communicate professionally with clients and internal team members and carry out general administrative tasks as required.
About You
As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will be professional, approachable, able to work accurately and confidently. Experienced in working with Intact Xline accounting software. You will hold a minimum of AAT Level 3 and have a minimum of three years practical bookkeeping experience. You will be adaptable, and flexible, with a positive mindset.
