Allbyn – Executive Search & Assessment for Alternative Investment Funds

A relatively new private equity fund with a c500m first fund is looking to add a strategic COO/CFO on a full or part-time basis.

The founding team comes from one of the largest and most successful private equity funds in the world. The ideal candidate will have experience building a successful private market fund in a number one seat. This will be a broad and all-encompassing role covering all areas of Finance and Operations.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategy for the Finance and Operations department
• Assist with future fundraising and LP queries alongside the IR team
• Management and development of a team of two direct reports
• Oversight of outsourced service providers
• Oversight on capital calls & distributions; carry waterfalls; quarterly reports; advisory committee; Annual statutory reporting for Funds as well as GP Companies
• Portfolio monitoring and valuations

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a CFO/COO within a Private Market Fund is essential
• ACA, ACCA or similar qualifications required
