Overview


We are currently supporting a leading global fund in their search for a Real Estate Finance specialist. Our client is among the world’s largest and most successful investors in real estate, with an outstanding track record and a highly respected platform.


In this role, you will have a broad remit, covering all aspects of investment and fund valuations, analytics, and investor reporting across a portfolio of European Real Estate funds.


Responsibilities



  • Managing the monthly and quarterly NAV process for the funds and producing complex analytics

  • Delivering high-quality analysis for senior leadership and investors

  • Participating in a range of projects and contributing as a key team member

  • Monitoring portfolio returns, composition, leverage, performance against benchmarks, and other key drivers

  • Collaborating with Asset and Portfolio Management teams to prepare financial models and valuation analyses

  • Coordinating with colleagues across European and global teams to ensure accurate and complete reporting to stakeholders

  • Engaging with portfolio businesses to provide detailed financial insights and support decision-making

  • Supporting Capital Markets, Acquisitions, and Asset Management teams with portfolio analytics and ad hoc modelling for both existing and new opportunities

  • Identifying and implementing process improvements and supporting the adoption of technology initiatives


Qualifications



  • 5+ years of work experience, gained in a fund/asset management environment or within a Big 4 (or similar) in an audit capacity

  • Experience in the Real Estate sector or broader asset management is preferred

  • A highly motivated individual with a reputation for excellence, achievement, and a mindset of continuous improvement

  • Willingness to work across multiple functional areas in a dynamic environment

  • Strong analytical and financial skills, with deep knowledge of finance and accounting, and exceptional Excel and PowerPoint expertise

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive in team environments and build strong internal and external relationships

  • Superior quantitative and qualitative analytical ability

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple, competing priorities

  • High level of integrity and professional conduct

  • Degree qualified; CFA, ACA (or similar) an advantage
