We are working with a leading private equity-backed media business that is seeking a junior investment analyst to join their growing team. You will be involved in investment evaluations and acquisitions, portfolio monitoring, as well as the broader deal process. You will regularly interact with management and seasoned professionals in the industry while also working alongside various other teams.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed industry, market, and company-specific research.
- Assist in building financial models to screen new investment opportunities.
- Assist in the management and monitoring of existing portfolio companies, as well as support the preparation of investment committee memos and presentations.
- Collaborate with management teams to develop and implement strategic plans.
- Prepare quarterly reviews and reports on portfolio company performance and market conditions.
Qualifications:
- This opportunity will suit someone from a valuations and/or background, gained in a Big 4 or advisory firm.
- Exposure to TMT/Media or related sectors is helpful but not essential.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills are essential, with the ability to assess and analyse large data sets.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Intellectual curiosity and the ability to manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
