A leading global alternative asset manager is seeking an Operations & Finance professional to support its real estate debt platform. The team oversees investment execution, capital markets activity, and ongoing portfolio operations across multiple vehicles. The role is suited to someone technically strong, highly organised, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
The Operations team is responsible for executing new investing and capital markets transactions as well as overseeing daily portfolio activities and cash flows.
Key Responsibilities- Support operations across a diversified real estate debt portfolio, spanning public and private fund structures.
- Partner with investment and finance teams across global offices to execute new transactions and financing strategies.
- Oversee elements of offshore operations and servicing teams, including training junior staff.
- Manage funding processes, treasury considerations, debt financing workflows, and FX-related items.
- Administer credit facilities, including advances, repayments, compliance reporting, covenant monitoring, and fee calculations.
- Validate interest income, funding activity, and waterfall cash movements with asset managers and servicing teams.
- Review portfolio analytics prepared for senior leadership.
- Degree in finance, accounting, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, ACA/ACCA/CIMA) beneficial.
- 3+ years’ experience in accounting, transaction services, private equity, consulting, or real estate debt.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a dynamic, transaction-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Excel and comfort using technology to improve processes.
- Excellent communication skills.
