Allan Corfield Structures Ltd. (ACS) was established in 2021 to provide early design services for private clients looking to build their dream homes. Specialising in residential projects using Modern Methods of Construction (SIPS, ICF & Timber frame), ACS offers a market-leading service with a focus on BIM design and analysis software integration.
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior/Chartered Structural Engineer located in Dunfermline. You will help run projects and assist in checking other engineers' work. The role involves conducting calculations, structural analysis, and design work for residential projects, extensions, conversions, and specialist steel connections. The engineer will work closely and collaboratively with architects and clients. If you have an interest in Architecture and the creation of luxury, sustainable homes - then this is the position for you.
Qualifications:
- Chartered or working towards Chartership
- Minimum of 5 years experience working in building structures
- Calculations and Structural Analysis skills
- Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering knowledge
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
- Proficiency in Tekla Tedds & Bluebeam
- Knowledge of UK building practices
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Experience with Modern Methods of Construction
- Civil engineering experience is useful but not essential
