All About Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Full Time Temporary to Permanent Accounts Assistant to start ASAP supporting an electrical wholesaler. This role is within a small supportive family feel team.

Applications are invited from candidates with experience in:

  • Salary: £12.82 per hour, circa £25,000
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Duration: Ongoing temporary with no legal obligation, but long term and a permanent contract will be an option for the right candidate.
  • Location: NN8
  • Hours of work: 09.00 - 17.00 Monday to Friday, so 37.5 hour working week

Our Client: A friendly and family run company with a small quiet office.

The Role: The successful candidate will assist with supporting Sage and Excel related accounts admin functions. Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Statement reconciliation and processing and raising invoices
  • Processing invoices and logging and recording information from suppliers
  • Sales and purchase ledger and flagging debtors and monitoring payment terms
  • Allocating payments and resolving queries
  • Excel administration; knowledge of SAGE would be beneficial
  • Maintaining and managing all related administrative tasks and duties
  • General team support for the admin and management team

Essential skills and experience:

  • AAT or equivalent
  • Previous experience within an Accounts Assistant or Finance Administration role
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience processing invoices and reconciling supplier statements
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Professional and confident approach when communicating with suppliers and customers
