Hours: 08:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday
Salary: £12.25+
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Temporary to Permanent appointment, without legal obligation
Location: NN4
Hours of work: Core hours 37.5 - 40 hour working week
Our client: Our well-established family run company needs some help with the production and stitching of cushions and soft furnishings.
Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Operating industrial hand tools to upholster furniture and sew fabric
- Assembling a wide variety of products by working to drawings and following set processes
- Ability to perform simple stitching
- Matching pattern instructions with finished work
- Keeping area and workstation tidy
- Goods out, ensuring orders are ready for despatch
Ideally you will have the following skills:
- Competent and experienced at machine sewing and hand sewing, with the ability to complete items by following careful instructions and patterns.
