All About Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Permanent Full Time Workshop Technician / Garden Machinery Repairs (2/4 Stroke Engines) to start ASAP.

Applications are invited from candidates with experience in:

Salary: £12.98 - £13.94 p/h (£27-£29K per annum)

Start Date: ASAP

Location: NN1

Hours of work: 40 hours a week Monday to Friday 08.30 - 17.30 (will consider 32-35 hours per week); some overtime can be available.

The Role: The successful candidate will assist within a small team with the repair and maintenance of machinery. Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Servicing and repair of all types of garden machinery
  • Liaising with the Parts Department, collating parts for the job
  • Possible customer on site visits for repair or collection of equipment/machinery
  • Using hand tools and electronic equipment
  • Assembly of machines and reading assembly instructions and diagrams
  • Maintaining the workshop area and stores department
  • Handling customer enquiries regarding servicing and schedules of repairs
  • Basic admin support to the department, manual handling, and general duties

Essential skills and experience:

  • Driving Licence
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of 4 stroke/2 stroke engines
  • Ability to use hand tools
  • Technically minded
  • Happy to assist with telephone calls
