All About Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Full Time Temporary to Permanent Accounts Assistant to start ASAP supporting an electrical wholesaler. This is a lovely job within a small supportive family feel team.
Applications are invited from candidates with experience in:
- Salary: £12.82 per hour, circa £25,000
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Ongoing temporary with no legal obligation, but long term and a permanent contract will be an option for the right candidate.
- Location: NN8
- Hours of work: 09.00 - 17.00 Monday to Friday, so 37.5 hour working week
Our Client: A friendly and family run company with a small quiet office.
The Role: The successful candidate will assist with supporting Sage and Excel related accounts admin functions. Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Statement reconciliation and processing and raising invoices
- Processing invoices and logging and recording information from suppliers
- Sales and purchase ledger and flagging debtors and monitoring payment terms
- Allocating payments and resolving queries
- Excel administration; knowledge of SAGE would be beneficial
- Maintaining and managing all related administrative tasks and duties
- General team support for the admin and management team.
Essential skills and experience:
- AAT or equivalent
- Previous experience within an Accounts Assistant or Finance Administration role
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience processing invoices and reconciling supplier statements
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Professional and confident approach when communicating with suppliers and customers
