All About Recruitment Ltd is currently recruiting for a Temporary to Permanent AV (AUDIO VISUAL) Technician / Van Driver to assist within a busy Audio Visual wholesaler
You will have experience of repairing AV equipment and carrying out service maintenance and repair services on Audio Visual equipment. Whilst specialist training can be provided, you will need some experience of electrical repair and have a passion for technology and fault finding. The job will from time to time also involve visiting customer sites to carry out repairs and service visits.
Hours: 07.30– 16.00 Monday to Friday, flexibility will be required
PLEASE NOTE THAT WITH DRIVING RESPONSIBILTIES AND OWING TO INSURANCE IMPLICATIONS, THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT MUST HAVE A VALID CLEAN DRIVING LICENCE THAT YOU HAVE HELD FOR OVER FIVE YEARS
Salary: £circa £27500 + Dependent upon experience
Start Date : ASAP
Duration: Temporary and Permanent opportunities may be available for the right person.
Location: NN1
Hours of work: Core hours Monday – Friday 07.30 - 16.00. Some early starts and late finishes will be required.
Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Sound understanding of electronics, fault finding techniques & problem solving skills
Confidence of using multimeters, oscilloscopes and soldering equipment
Excellent attention to detail and clear communication
Electrical repair experience
Flexible and reliable approach to work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good knowledge of the UK
