The role of a Mishcon Cambridge trainee requires a distinctive contribution. In addition to the demands of the Mishcon Training Contract, we hope to see some specific input from you including:
- A dynamic, clear and sustained long-term commitment to our Cambridge office and the Cambridge market.
- A strong interest in the Innovation Economy, with eagerness to learn about technological developments such as AI, biotechnology, quantum computing, clean energy and high-tech materials.
- A committed networker within Cambridge from Day 1, engaging with clients, intermediaries, Young Professionals groups, and community partners.
- A vocal ambassador and proactive connector for our Cambridge office within our firm.
Our Cambridge Open Day takes place on Thursday 4th December 2025 for candidates in the penultimate year of their undergraduate degree and onwards (including graduates). Our Open Days provide insight into the type of work we do, the clients we engage with, and life as a lawyer at Mishcon de Reya. This is your chance to get to know us better and understand what makes us tick while increasing your commercial awareness about how a law firm operates, the current legal landscape, and the future of the legal market.
This is an in-person event that will take place in our Cambridge Office, specifically for candidates looking to apply to our Cambridge Vacation Scheme. We typically look for an expected 2:1 degree and ABB at A-level, but we are ultimately looking for the best candidates. Please don’t be deterred if your grades are lower than this; we are looking for people who have a strong application form across the board. Please enter your GCSE, A-level (or equivalent) and a full breakdown of your degree grades on the application form. Applications close on Thursday 27th November 2025.
