Overview

Cripps Legal offers a six‑year apprenticeship for Year 13 students or school leavers who want to pursue a career in law through hands‑on training rather than a full‑time university degree. Apprentices work four days a week at our offices in Tunbridge Wells, Horsham and London while completing an LLB law degree through BPP University Law School online one day a week. After completion, apprentices may apply for a NQ solicitor role at the firm.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside solicitors across our real estate, corporate and private client teams.
  • Draft legal documents, meet with clients and conduct legal research.
  • Rotate through the business for the first four years and then join the trainee solicitor programme for the final two years.

Qualifications

  • Currently a Year 13 student or recent school leaver.
  • Well‑rounded with strong personal and communication skills.
  • Team player, methodical, accurate and organised, able to meet deadlines.
  • Driven, enthusiastic, ambitious and capable of problem‑solving during the application process.
