We’re looking for a talented Story Producer to join our story team.

You’ll help shape story arcs, refine episode outlines, and ensure our narratives remain authentic, surprising, and true to the heart of Hollyoaks.

Hollyoaks is looking for a talented StoryProducer to work alongside our existing team, to help steer the show through a busy time and into its next exciting chapter!

If you’re passionate about storytelling, thrive in a fast-paced creative environment, and love bringing dynamic, character-driven drama to life, we’d love to hear from you.

Please note that this role will work alongside our current Senior Story Producer for a 6-month period.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and track storylines, ensuring narrative cohesion across the series
  • Collaborate closely with the story team, scriptwriters, and production
  • Identify and develop strong character journeys and emotional beats
  • Help maintain the show’s trademark mix of heart, humour, and high stakes.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience as a Story Producer/Editor (or equivalent story/editorial role) on continuing drama or scripted content
  • Excellent storytelling instincts and attention to detail
  • A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for working as part of a creative team.
