As a Senior Broadcast Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that on-air programmes and engineering services are delivered seamlessly, on time, and to the highest technical standards. Working within a fast-paced, live broadcast environment, you will support and maintain the systems that power our global news output.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure all on-air programming and engineering services are delivered on schedule and at the highest level of quality
- Monitor and maintain the stability and performance of broadcast and broadcast IT systems, resolving issues proactively
- Install, maintain, upgrade, and repair broadcast equipment, systems, and infrastructure
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure uninterrupted transmission and smooth daily operations
- Execute planned maintenance activities and manage downtime requirements across the broadcast environment
- Update and maintain system documentation and technical diagrams
- Support technical projects, including materials requisition and reviewing vendor proposals
- Respond to faults, incidents, and service requests via the AJMN Service Desk, ensuring resolution within agreed SLAs
- Provide hands‑on technical support across all broadcast and broadcast IT areas.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 4+ years’ experience in broadcast engineering within a live broadcast environment
