THE COMPANY

Our Client is thepost-production arm of a major media entity, home to some of the UK’s mostpopular television shows.

THE ROLE

As Post ProductionBusiness Development Manager, you will have responsibility for delivering asubstantial proportion of annual revenue for the post production business.

Key responsibilities:

  • Engagewith new and existing clients to grow the post production customer base
  • Managefront line sales enquiries and ensure timely follow-up on allopportunities
  • Leadcommercial negotiations from initial quote through to contract completion
  • Collaborateclosely with commercial and operations teams to resolve any issuesquickly
  • Supportthe development of new services and identify opportunities for jointstudio and post-production deals
  • Helpshape pricing strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Supporthigh utilisation and exceed annual commercial targets for Post Productionand associated services.

THE PERSON

With solid experiencein a business development role with a post-production facility, you will becustomer focused and be proactive in identifying and securing new business.Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build lasting client relationshipsare key.

You’ll need a blackbook of production contacts, ideally in factual programming and/or drama and anexcellent knowledge of who’s making what and when.

A good understandingof post-production processes is essential for this role, as it the ability tocost projects and present proposals to clients.
