We are looking to hear from experienced Production Managers, Line Producers and Junior Production Executives who would like to join us to help support all aspects of physical production across our growing European non-fiction content slate.

This position will report to the Apple TV UK Production Executive lead for Non‐Fiction. Your responsibilities will include supporting the Physical Production team as they vet budgets and schedules, curate vendor and crew relations, and oversee the entire process from pre‐production through to delivery. You will oversee every aspect of the production cycle, along with creating budgets, modelling production schedule scenarios and working side by side with colleagues in Post and Creative.

Responsibilities
  • Act as liaison with our production teams and all internal Apple TV departments
  • Thoroughly vet production budgets and schedules and provide detailed analysis and questions
  • Support the team of Creative Exec and Production Execs as required
  • Work collaboratively and build relationships with other teams across Production Finance, Production Legal and Business Affairs to help get productions through the Greenlight process and successfully into production
  • Lead regular Productions meetings with show production managers, line producers and creative executives to monitor production progress
  • Share and speak to Apple production manual and guidelines; ensure major landmarks are met (e.g. budget lock, budget approval, kick‐off calls, department launch calls, deliverables, international filming activity, security sign‐off, health and safety sign‐off, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate schedules, reports and tracking system for all non‐fiction projects; work closely with Apple's Post, VFX, and Delivery team to ensure dates and deliverables are current
  • Liaise with Marketing teams as appropriate to ensure adequate collection of assets in the field and timely delivery as required
  • May mentor, guide and co‐ordinate activities of more junior team members
Minimum Qualifications
  • Demonstrable experience as a Production Manager/Line Producer/Junior Exec within the Non‐Fiction genres (ideally, more than one of: archive documentaries, celeb‐led travel series, factual‐entertainment formats, natural history)
  • Shown ability to develop relationships both internal and external
  • Ability to create and check production schedules
  • Ability to create and check production budgets, cash flows and cost reports
  • Established network of freelance production crew and vendors
  • Ability to look around corners and solve complex Production problems
  • Strong written, verbal and visual communication skills
  • Can stand in for senior executives when needed
  • Knowledge and experience of reviewing Risk Assessments for non‐fiction filming
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast‐paced production environment
Software requirements: Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
  • Desirable: Movie Magic Budgeting and Scheduling
  • Desirable: Experience of filming in multiple worldwide destinations
  • Advantageous: Knowledge or experience of working on scripted productions to be able to support wider production team members if required
