Role Overview: This role will help to maintain and grow our existing portfolio, while working directly with clients to shape their requirements and ensure their objectives are met.
Responsibilities:
- Develop strong relationships with key direct clients to promote Times Events and related commercial opportunities.
- Work with media agency partners to deliver creative, compelling proposals that meet their needs and commercial objectives.
- Deliver excellent client service through effective sales proposals, presentations, negotiations and feedback on campaign performance.
- Proactively pursue and secure advertising business from new clients, including upselling across other media channels.
- Project-manage clients throughout the events process, liaising with internal departments such as News Live and Marketing.
Qualifications:
- Commercially driven with a growth-oriented mindset and an interest in researching and learning about new sectors to identify untapped commercial leads.
- Strong organisational capabilities, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong networking, negotiating and influencing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative team player able to work effectively across different departments.
- Experience in events is an advantage, but not essential.
