We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Claims Technician within our Real Estate team to join our Chelmsford or Glasgow office.
This will be based in the respective office 3 days per week minimum.
- Key Accountabilities
- Ensuring data is accurately input in order to achieve high standards of data quality and management information
- Diary management
- Undertaking administrative duties in accordance with company standards as required, such as allocating post to files.
- Dealing with external queries in a professional manner and accurately record conversations/messages
- Liaising with Mc Larens Loss Adjusters & Account handlers where required
- Ensuring compliance with Mc Larens’ financial procedures, such as invoicing processes Running, checking, analysing and issuing management information reports
- Undertaking projects allocated by the Head of Real Estate
- Attending client review meetings if needed.
- Taking minutes and actions arising from meetings (both internal and external) If needed.
- Assist in onboarding all new clients
- Liaising with the Client Lead for renewal documentation
- To undertake invoicing and billing on both European and UK based files
- To action basic tasks for account handlers such as Closure of files, Chasing documentation/information for both the Property & Liability teams.
- Adhoc tasks where required.
Experience and Qualifications
This is an entry level role, and the candidate does not have to have experience in this sector.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a focus on quality, communication and organisational skills.
An ability to develop strong relationships both internally and externally is imperative.
They will have strong working knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
Advanced Excel knowledge would be advantageous.
