Groovy Gecko is looking for a highly creative and extremely organised Producer. This will be a fixed term contract on PAYE for 1 year with the possibility to extend or make permanent.
Role Overview
The role requires an excellent phone manner, strong verbal and written communication skills, and a clear understanding of the importance of punctuality. Working in our busy team from our office in Old Street and on location to help deliver a wide variety of projects, from corporate communications to experiential brand experiences with a creative flair.
Responsibilities
- Creative Producer – Building creative solutions for our projects, from concept to delivery.
- Set and graphic briefs
- Writing run of shows/scripts
- Producing talent on set
- Project Manager/Producer – End to end management of a project from concept to delivery and wash up
- Budget management
- Logistics management and booking
- Health and safety/risk management knowledge
- Client management
Note: you wouldn’t be expected to both creatively produce and PM an event in most cases. Due to the nature of the work, it can involve early mornings, late nights and weekends, with the possibility of national and international travel.
Required Skills
- Strong working knowledge of “live” broadcast environment either on TV or streaming.
- Experience and ability to troubleshoot under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written as you will be directing talent and talking with clients.
- Ability to multitask during live events
- Ability to manage more than one project at the same time
- Good understanding of live online video streaming and how it works
- Effectively manage their own time and priorities
- Show initiative with a proactive and flexible approach
- Be part of a team and have a positive, “can do” attitude
- Work with management to continually improve our processes
- Have a creative mindset and actively contribute to the company’s goals
- Good level of computer literacy (Windows, Mac, Office Suite) with Adobe a nice to have
- Experience with Monday.com is a bonus.
