The Role: As a Teacher of English, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and inspiring English language and literature lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality English lessons that are challenging, stimulating, and tailored to the needs of individual students.
- Inspiring a love for English language and literature, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Assessing student progress and attainment, providing constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their academic goals.
- Differentiating instruction to accommodate the diverse learning needs and abilities of students, including those with special educational needs.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of the English curriculum, resources, and assessment strategies.
- Collaborating with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive English department, sharing best practices and innovative teaching ideas.

Requirements: The successful candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in English or a related subject.
- Experience teaching English language and literature at Key Stages 3, 4, and ideally Key Stage 5.
- A passion for English literature and language learning, with the ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities.
- Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to delivering outstanding teaching and learning experiences.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- A reflective and collaborative approach to teaching, with a commitment to continuous professional development and improvement.
